policeman to provide identification as none of the of ficers were wearing badges Chief Snider told The Examiner today that the officers were ordered to leave their hats in their cars before entering the picket line The badges are on the hats not on uniforms Snider says that this is normal procedure in situation of this kind as past experience has shown that hats are often pulled off by picketers He said the officers were also ordered to leave behind their ties and gun straps to prevent them being pulled off by pickets USES WHOLE FORCE Chief Snider defended the use of almost the entire Barrie police force at the scene dont like putting people officers there at all he said but if have to use the whole Barrie force to maintain order will Snider says pickets on the Radio Shack Line were
