games for months until he felt he knew how to detect the cheats and sleight of hand ar tists who took their lives in their hands every time they sat down at table Many confrontation was settled right then and there with revolvers roaring at close range Doc didnt have to brush up on shooting he was already lightning fast draw Fast draw in 1875 Doc killed his first man over card game While charges were never brought against him for the shooting he thought it would be in his best interest to leave Dallas Doc moved on to Jacksboro where he promptly killed two men in gunfights Now constantly on the move he touched down in Denver Colorado where he managed to put three additional notches on his gun As doomed man Doc Holliday always shot first and ask ed questions later His disregard for his own life was nur tured by the fact that he felt he didnt have long to live anyway Doc drifted into Fort Griffin Texas where he met dance hall lady who answered to the descriptive moniker Big Nos ed lynch mob he was temporarily stashed away in hotel with deputy guarding him around the clock Big Nosed Kate sensed that Baileys friends would at tempt to lynch her man She decided to take matters into her own hands Big Nosed set fire to the back of the hotel Dur ing the confusion caused by the fire Big Nosed marched Into Docs room with six shooters already drawn She disarmed the guard and the pair took off on waiting horses They didnt stop running until they hit Dodge ity Kari sas where Doe again practised dentistry for short while llig Nosed posed as his respectable wife The only fly in the Iiintment was the fact that Big Nosed and Doe didnt get along They fought like cat and dog but Doc always was susceptible to reconciliation lie never forgot that llIg Nos ed most probably saved his
