workers are be ginning to exercise their rights under new unjust dismissal clause included in the Canada Labor Code last September About 25 nonunion emv ployees out of 125000 in Ontario under federal jurisdiction have appealed their firings so far Theyre coming in at the rate of one week says Gordon llotchkiss Great Lakes regional operations manager for Labor Canada in Toronto The Great Lakes region in cluding most of Ontario looks after about 250000 employees who fall under federal labor ju risdiction Of those about half arcnonunion If the 25 cases to date six have been settled by federal
