to day to investigate alleged discrepancies in the player roster of Orillia Travelways Oak Ridges Dynes manager Bill Waleski con tacted managers of each of the other 11 teams in the league Wednesday to inform them of the meeting Barrie Colts manager Carol Jermey said she was told by Waleski that the meeting is being held to look into discrepancies regarding the standing of seven players on the Travelways who appear to be illegal imports of the team Each Central Ontario league team is allowed maximum of three imports and one waived player from outside its community According to Jan 10 protected list released by Travelways seven players were listed as residing at the addresses of two oeam officials Travelways manager Don Dale said he had no comment on the allegations but would discuss the matter following the meeting League rules stipulate that players must claim residency by Oct or before the first scheduled game of that group If any players came from out of town to play for team they could take up residency in that community before the above dates and would not be regarded as imports Mrs Jermey in the league days meeting Anderson breathes easy said Travelways would be in any serious trouble as result of the investigation but there will pro bably be an awful lot of skeletons in the closet when they start looking into each of the teams Waleski could not be reached
