increase Kids are maturing earlier and faster because of such things as nutrition Their sex drive is very real Communication in society such as television radio ex poses them to life earlier she said Im saying we cant change society dont believe providing teenagers with in formation is encouraging them to be sexually active They are activeso why not increase the comfort level and decrease the us Mr Isbister said teenagers in the past grew up with the sexinthecloset attitude That is sex education it teaches you not to learn about sex he said The silent approach of paren ts teachers and doctors con veys negative attitudes he said They avoid topics simply by not asking The Isbisters said some cases of sexual dysfunction in marriage result from ex periences as teenager The back seat of acar fear of being found out by the parents is not conducive to satisfying sexual experience Mr Isbister said Habits learned in these conditions are often carried In to marriage Says Dr Isbister In fact Id say the back seat of the car fear and guilt make con ducive atmosphere for sexual dysfunction Females too may have roblems responding sexually Because of fear or guilt with their first sexual experience The Isbisters stressed seeing adolescent sexual activity as part of whole picture Lets not isolate the problems of VD pregnancy Dr Isbister said If respon sibility must accompany sexual activity adults should stress it shesaid The gap between what is happening with our young people and what we thin should be happening must be bridged she said Mr Isbister said sexual development is
