with the best in office furniture By SlE BURKE The Examiner TORONTO An estimated 17000 people gathered in Town to this week for the 1978 Inter national lnterior Design Show in the Automotive Building at Exhibition Place Major manufactures of fur niturc and accessories for the contract interiorfurnishings iii dustry took part in the three day show which featured more than 300 exhibits The show is designed to bring trade industry representatives together to talk shop and do business says lam van Rossem publicity director Its chance to bring ai chitects and interior designers together in one place with ex hibits covering the difterent areas of contract furnishings design site said during the show The show is produced by Southex lIxhibitions sub sidiary of Southaiii Business Publications says Bernie Loveridgc show manager Several attempts were made to persuade them to come into the show without sucv cess Loveridge said the attitude of these firms is hurting the con tent of the Toronto
