Clydesdale showman Beetons Hewson honored at Royal after 50 yea rs TORONTO Wreford Hewson of Beeton is competing in his 50th consecutive Royal Winter Fair this year and Thursday the Royal honored the long time participant This year the Royal celebrates its 50th year and during the opening ceremonies the fair recognized three in dividuals for their contribution over the history of the agricultural showcase Seventyfiveycar old Hewson was one of them Hewson first came to the Royal as 19yearold entered in the intercountry judging competition with Peel County judging team His team won the
