JulllOl Open champion and son of PGA club pro Gus Maue said he like to take walk during practice The tall sleak professional looking fellow said he doesnt worry about practice too much he just goes out to have look at the course and hit few balls Maue is among 150 golfers at the Barrie ounty Club to day for the first round of this years Junior Open And he is looking to win it again There are to or 13 guys who could win it this year he said after ingesting the rules at the pretournament meeting Monday night Last year there were some guys who lid well but knew Iwould beupthere This year Maue the aiiadian om monwealth Games and world aquatic swimming trials in Re gina earlier this month You know today they are piling the yardage on the kids said Nagy who holds the ana dian record for the 200 fly donl know if could handle it Im used to it at my age be caiisel know need it notice lot of swimmers here are 14 and 13 and they are blossoming couple of years later and they are burned out think swimmer should work intuit Nagy does not seem to mind that the Games follow closely on the heels of the Canadian trials and precede the world aquatic championships by less than three weeks It
