Bradford Queens Hotel 32 and win the tourna ment grand championship All told Beatrice had its cof fers sweetened by $650 worth of bonds $450 for their Division win and an additional $200 for the grand championship Bradford claimed $450 bond for placing first in Divison Two and another $100 as runnerup in the grand championship Thirtytwo teams played total of 56 games over four day period utilizing three ball parks within the city And for once it was tournament free of rain as sunshine allowed the tournament to go on unhamp cred and brought out good crowds Beatrice played total of four games heading into the grand championship at Queens Park obourg fell to 70 thrashing Saturday with Robin Lee Sports of Toronto taking 30 loss Sunday hurch Moliile Homes went down 73 in final game Sunday of Division One Cobourg eliminated Church Homes during Mondays playoffs to meet Beatrice once again The fate was the same as the hardhitting Beatrice club ousted Cobourg with sixrun first rinning rally
