Saturday and Sunday easily outpointing Steve Man cuso of the Ontario contingent and Bobby Dyer of Fort St JohnBC Pichette who accomplished the same feat last year at the Canadian championships while competing as juvenile won the 300metre event in 264 sec onds the 500metre event in 431 the 800vmetre event in 12114 and the LOGOmetre event in1303 wasnt thinking of the records at all Pichette said What probably made the dif ference was that there wasnt good competition here and didnt have to worry about strategy Led by Pichette the Quebec team won the overall cham pionship as it accumulated 132
