holdings of US dollars Figures released today by the finance department show the Bank of Canada bought $4153 million of US dollars in the month The increase in US dollar holdings follows earlier spending of US dollar holdings as the government tried to support the Canadian dollars falling value The finance department also announced to day terms of the $112 billion US standby credit that the
