program By THE CANADIAN PRESS The status of swine flu inoculation programs in cities and towns across Canada has been thrown into disarray by reports from the United States indicating possible link between the vaccine and form of par alysis Federal Health Minister Marc Lalonde told news conference in Ottawa on Thursday night that he has asked the provinces to suspend immunization of persons between the ages 20 and 50 until Jan by which time he expects to have detailed report from the US He recommended that the elderly and chronically ill continue to be immunized because of the small risk of complication compared with the risk of influenza in that group Ontario and British Columbia health of ficials announced shortly after Mr Lalondes news conference that all their swine flu im munization programs had been suspended Some provinces such as Manitoba decided to carry on with inoculations for the elderly and cronically ill Health officials in other provinces said they were
