annually attracts large audience came to Barrie Friday night Breath of Scotland drew nearly 400 people to Georgian Theatre and the Scottish tar tans were very much in mi dence The show was listed as con tinuous eilidh melange of music song dance and nonsense It was all of that and more The pace was fast and con stantly changing in format With music song and dance the Scottish entertainment was good It is true that the dancer Sandra Wright would have been better with longer and more graceful skirts in her ballet sequence She is an inter national winner of Scottish dan cing ller expertise is unques tioned and she has exceptional ability to seem as light as Scottishthistle But even her Scottish costume could have been richer and perhaps more glamorous Emcee for the evening and dominating the show Hon Coburn kept the night of enter tainment from sagging He is huge Scotsman with an innate sense of shimmanship He has too great deal of charm But when it comes to humor or nonsense he had the dif ficulty of relating to whatever country or area in which they MB AND MRS WILLIAM lll McLEAN Marion Della Duiker and William George McLean of Barrie were married Oct at St Andrews Presbyterian Hamilton Place would have been quite different in this respect Star of the show was Billy Marshall He is listed with many titles and he lived up to all of them Scotlands singing troubadour singeraccor dionist TV radio stage and recording star Marshall has at him His voice is natural He handles any song with ease with absolute sense of pitch and with an absolute sense of communication Indeed he could easily sing over large symphony orchestra But at all times he sings with great sense of musician ship and the voice itself is always musical rare com biiiatioii Special comments must be way with
