the pre ventive medicine which may make divorce statistics drop in the future At least that is the hope of local clergymen who conduct courses dealing with every thing from putting the top on the toothpaste to sexual com patibility all for one reason to make engaged cou les take more realistic loo at themselves and their mate Of the clergymen inter viewed all had an optimistic outlook on marriage in socie ty despite the prophets of doom who claim it is fading institution Rev John Speers pastor of Trinity Anglican Church said young people today try harder for an honest relation ship His course encourages them to speak up about what they like and dislike about each other As minister he sees his function not as counsellor but as someone who encourages discussion Thats the main
