in the life of Mrs Catharine lnwood was reached when members of her family and friends athered at the Good maritan Nursing Home to join with Mr and Mrs Bogaert and their staff to of fer congratulations on her 108th birthday Although not as alert as year ago she was all dressed up for the occasion and out in the foyer in her wheelchair where residents and visitors gathered for little program of music provided by Mr and Mrs Bissett of Toronto and her daughter Mrs Muriel Galbraith of Islington an ac complished pianist Born on June 12 1868 at Castle Cary in Somerset shire England this grand old lad came to Canada in 1908 an with her husband who died in 1954 spent many years in Toronto Mrs lnwood lived alone until she reached her 100th birthday when she came to reside at the Baker Nursin Home which was the origina Stevenson Memorial hospital adjacent to the new hospital Along with other residents of that home she was moved to the new Good Samaritan Nur sing Home just east Council of Canada Scholarship only three of which were awarded in Canada Kevin Hall spent the weekend in Toronto Visiting his grand mother Mrs Clara Vivian for several days last week was Mrs Irene Campbell of Six MileLake October 2428 has been set aside for an Evangelistic Crusade with series of Evangelistic services by Mr James Somerville to be held in the area This is being directed by
