the first time in the game with Jay Watson giving Barrie comfortable two goal lead Brock Tredway scored for St Andrews with Ken Beechum making no mistake on his free kick in the final moments of the half to send the game into penalty shots Both sides traded goals un til the fourth shot by Barries Steve Price hit the goal post and went wide Bob Hadley Hawks manager and an organizer of the 12team tournament felt the calibre of play was fan tastic despite the sloppy ï¬eld conditions Of the 18 games played on ly four players were sent from the field Hadley com plimented the work of referees John James and Jim Boylen both of Harrie They were great for us hesaid The rain hurt conceded Hadley but for the closeness of the game the calibre of play was fantastic Although the Hawks went out early Hadley was generally pleased by the Bar rie teams performance and feels it will do well in league play The first game 21 could have gone either way In the second game we let up and they beat He
