Con tinentiallnn The meeting will begin at 930 am with the theme Spr ing Flowers Special feature for the day will be presented by Mary Fraser who will show flower pictures made from dried flowers Mr Olson will speak on Bouquets of Inspiration and sing selection of spiritual songs native of Boone Iowa Mr Olson has taught high school and college music and has served congregations in several states as organist and minister of music His musical background attends from taking piano lessons at age six to finishing doctoral program in choral literature As tenor soloist Mr Olson averages about 20 per at CWC meeting formances each month in GRADUATE Dale Eplett son of Mr Fred Eplett and the late Eplett of 252 Dunlop St graduated recently with bachelor of science in mginecring degree from the Reeve one of Canadas bestknown potters will return home to Simcoe County this month to conduct an Advanced Ceramics Workshop for Georgian Col lege Summer School of the Arts in Barrie The weeklong Reeve workshop scheduled for May 17 through 21 is being presented by the Summer School of the Arts as unique learning opportunity for area potters The subject of the workshop will be The Pot ters Work As Broad as it is Narrow and Mr Reeve will point out the many facets of the potters involvement in art chemistry geology and the world outside the self The workshop will be held Mon day through Friday have any initiative Textile students at Georgian College in Barrie recently turned learning ex perience into fundraising venture and raised $400 for scholarships for design arts students As part of their course the students working under the supervision of teaching master Pat Hart designed and stitched unique quilt and three pillows Tickets on the quilt and pillows were then sold at $1 each and the project cleared $470 Of this amount $400 was put into the GEORGIAN GUILD GARAG SALE Georgian Guild Saturday The garage sale was held at Letitia Street from scholarship fund and $70 was set aside
