How wîll residents be -inf ormed of the Ontario Home Renewal Program? A. The annual income of the homeowner must not exceed $12,000 - or the current income limits defined by the Ontario Housing Corporation for pur- chasing a bouse under the Home OwnershipMade Easy Plan - whicbever is greater. There are no income limits in the case of absentee landlords, however, they are required to enter into rent stabilization agreements. Q.Hwis the. ban gr ant paid to property owners? A. The amount of the grant or boan together with interest will be geared to the ability to repay. The geared to income formula will be developed locally but must be accept- able to the Minister. Som-fe of these also will be geared in the renewal field and others in the production of new homnes; all of these programs will be developed through continued consultation with the muncip- alities. Asked if the county woula approach the provincialgo- verriment for financial assist- ance in buying back the equity which the- munîcipalities' in the Durhamn Region, in Vic- toria and Peterborough coun- ties had in the United Counties buildings and equipment, Mr. Roddy'ý said that aboard of arbitration has been set up to decide on the splitting of the former United County assets.
