JUNIORGRMNI' NIE TN( The Oronio Junior Gardep- ers meeting wîs fheld on Tuesday, Novemiber 13,in the Upper C.E. auditorium with most members present but some were ill.,. After' the singing of O Canada and repeating the Junior Garden- er's creed Mrs. Zegers wel- comed the boys ànd girls. She said this is the time to put out feed for the birds and a feeder could easily be made by éutting a bole in the side of a' javex bottie, putting a piece of wood for a perch and putting the seeds in this, then hanging in a tree. A piece of suet in an onion bag, hung in a tree or on the clothes-line attracts birds too. For the roll caîl eau-.. member was'asked to name a bird either one that stays here aIl winter or one that goes south ,to a warmer climate. uianny uoivin fiad brought some bernies they found as they could be poisonous. Whereas they can be poison- ous to people they may not be to birds as some birds live on bernies. The children worked on their cone and nut projeets and some interesting results appeared. The meeting closed with tbe Junior Gardener's'prayer. The next meeting wiil be the Christmas Show, and party on, Tuesday, December' Il ta wbich the parents are invited.
