He was the husband of Mary P. MITCHELL of Wingham and father of William'M.D. Ottawa Mrs. Alan MCLEAN (Marlon) of Ripley and Andrew Robert, O.P.P. Kincardine. There are five grandchiidren; also four sisters Mrs. Wm. RUTHER- FORD (Joanna) of Kirby;* Mr's. Robert ARD (Elsie) of Orono ; Mrs. Miford DAVIS (Elizabeth) of Lakefield; Mrs. Otto COATHAM (Hilda) of Orono and one brother George of Georgetown. The funeral was held on Monday, June 11, 1973 from South Kinloss Presbyterian Church with interment in South Kinloss Cemetery. South Kinloss was where Mr. BURGESS beganhis ministry in 1930 after graduation from University of Toronto in 1927, and Knox College in~ 1930. He was a member of the Presby- tery of Ottawa. The clerk of the Presbytery of Ottawa, Rev. Dr. WOTHERSPOON coriducted the service with Rev. Dr. Douglas STEWART of St. Andrew's Toronto taking the prayer, Rev. J.D.C. JACK of Leaside Toronto giving the address, Rev. NOBLE of South Kinloss Church the benediction and Rev. Jack BELL of Walkerton taking the committal at the grave.
