Collingwood Wyebridge Barrie and districts registered for the entire weekend In addi tion there were number from Coliingwood who came in for all sessions but did not remain overl night Instructors for the weekend were Miss Ethel Curry of North ern Vocational School for the painting and sketching group Miss Althea Edgar from the Canadian Handicrafts Guildwwhoed Alien design workshop aiid Cox formerly of Upper Canada Coll cge who instructed the Wood Carving group Much was accomplished in the painting and sketchinggroup even though everybody did not have al ski suit to brave the snow and cold The group spent good deal of time painting the outofdoors from inside and sketching por traits few really enthusiastic members were up and at it vey early Sunday morning Some of those participating in the Design Workshop had attend ed the first course and were so keen that they did not want to miss this weekend These people of course were placed in grade of design Miss Edgar who so iablyWassISIed Mrs Martha Ann Kidd at the first course repeated tthc introductory course and had prepared more advanced work for those attending second time This group worked enthusiastically ar
