and handed over the reins of duty to Group Captain Richard Hilton who has just returned to Canada from posting at the Allied Air Force station at Fontainbleau France Hundreds of airmen were as sembled in the hangar when Group Captain West arrived and to them he addressed his thanks for their high standards and the work which they have done to give this old camp such fine reputation The Group
