auxiliary was asked to donate clean white used cotton for bandages for cancer patients Very encouraging annual re ports were turned in by the of ficers with the exception of the treasurer who will present her report at the June meeting at the end of the club year The meeting on June will take the form of dinner at Mayors Motel follow ed by the installation of officers for the year 195455 Mrs history for many of the members It was the most won derful evening we have ever had in the words of one member Certainly the demonstration in oils by Tom Roberts ARCA OSA of Port Credit provided one of the most profitable and entertaining evenings in local art circles Art dubbch found it wonderful ex perience to watch as Mr Roberts completed large canvas 20 by 24 in just over an hour His subject was several groups of birch trees in early spring against soft background of water and distant trees His technique was new to most of the club members He used benzine as medium to york in the tones
