of Mrs Margaret Eliz abeth Elaine Melson passed away suddenly at her home 77 Cum berland St on Tuesday March 30 1954 in her 45th year Mrs Melson had enjoyed com paratively good health and her sudden heart attack and death within 10 minutes came as shock to her family and the scores of people who knew her as devoted wife mother sister and friend She was daughter of the late Walter Storey and Maude Lytle and was born at Alliston on June 221909 When she was only six years of age her mother died For 10 years she lived with her grandmother Lytle at Parry Sound and Sudbury Then she returned to her fathers home and attended Alliston High School It was at this time she met Clifford Melson of Barrie and after working as cashier in Loblaws Groceteria oronto she married him on March 20 1931 They had one daughter and one son both of whom survive Mrs Melsons ï¬rst home was on John Street in Barrie Later she and her husband purchased and occuv pied the home at 77 Cumberland St where she resided until she was stricken last Tuesday Left to mourn her loss are her husband her daughter Mrs Mc Conkey Audrey and son Neil all of Barrie Others surviving are three brothers Minford of Alliston Carlyle
