Mona Brajak, 60, who has owned Mona's Coiffure -- a spa, beauty and personal care salon -- since 1985, will be cutting her last strands of hair yesterday (Wednesday). Brajak is retiring after serving approximately 300 clients for close to three decades at her 94 George St. salon. "Every day is another beautiful day for me. It's very sad for me to leave this job because I got very attached to it," said Brajak, holding back tears. "With the support of my family, friends and clients, I kept going and it's a really beautiful thing to have. Not many people love their jobs these days." Brajak first came to Canada in the early 1970s with her husband, moving to Windsor, Ont., after they married. They relocated to Oakville several years later to pursue other job opportunities, where Brajak began working as a hairstylist to pay for child daycare and save up to open her own shop.
