Karen leaves behind mother Rose, sister Sonja, brother Michael, and the many lives of those she has touched. Will be dearly missed by all her family in Germany and by her 91 year old aunt Anneliese. Predeceased by her father, Frank, grandmother Else, and dear friend Noel. Karen was a lifelong academic, a philanthropist and a pure heart with a beautiful soul. But mostly she was known as a true environmentalist and an animal activist. Her time was spent fighting to preserve the natural beauty of Bronte and this Earth.
