MOVIE REVIEW Drama and suspense are the order for the week’s program at the Plaza theatre, highlighted by that great movie, "Sink the Bismark.†On Thursdav and Friday, "Operation Amsterdam’’, starring international stars Eva Bartok and Peter Finch tells the wartime story of how the British Secret Service removed the industrial diamonds from Amsterdam for the British war industry at the precise moment when the Germans are inva- ding. "Sink the Bismark’’ is one of the most highly-rated adventure films ever...a must for all movie goers. It depicts the dramatic piece of history 36 hours long-after Prime Minister Winston Churchill sent the urgent message contained in the title to the British Navy in 1941 at a time when British fortunes were running very low in the war, and the 52,000 ton German ship was the menace of the Western waters. Starring in the historic tingler are two of Britain’s finest film stars Kenneth More and Dana Wynter. The picture plays Saturday, Sunday midnight, and Monday. "Libel" starring Dirk Bogarde in a remarkable dual-role and Olivia de Havilland is a drama of mounting suspense and emotional inintensity climaxed by a sensational courtroom trial. The film plays Tuesday and Wednesday and we recommend this one. Coming Attractions: Manager Nick Vickruck has "Ocean’s 11†coming on Feb. 18, the film just finished playing at the Lakehead.
