A group of 59 Grade 8 students unleashed a flash mob on Wednesday, Nov. 19 on the first floor of the mall, performing a rendition of Joy to the World, twice. They also distributed flyers to promote Home Suite Hope's (HSH) upcoming Christmas-themed concert, A Merry Night, on Saturday, Dec. 6 at Oakville's The Meeting House. HSH is a local charitable organization that provides transitional housing, education and training to single-parent families facing homelessness in Halton. "They were so excited to get started that someone pushed the play button for the music, so the group that was there started and then the rest of students still getting off the bus joined in.
