Here, Lynda Corneal, education programming co-ordinator for the Durham Region Lung Association, introduces the puppet called "Octopuff " to students. Octopuff, along with "Cecil the Sensible Seal," a film, and a smoking machine, helped to explain the facts about smoking and health. Vsits to the sehools are a free Christmas Seal service offered'by the Durham Region Lung Association. Students taking part in this speciai workshop are from Miss Flintoff's grade one and two class. Parking Probleins in Orono At a recent, Chamber of Commerce meeting, the busi- ness men of Orono are asking, that the meter maid be brought back to help control the existing poor parking conditions. *Parking. conditions are s0 frustrating at times as to warrant many customers to say it 18 easier to drive on to other areas to shop, than to drive around searching for parking space. Orono United Church have sponsored a Southeast Asian famly and are expecting to hear of the arrivai of this group any day now. The very beautiful dol house, that had' been on display in Hamilton Insurance window, was drawn for last Saturday evening at Orono Amateur Athietie Dance, and was won by Dennis Mumford.
