He stopped a penalty shot on goal, the score was 3-0 and he had the first shut-out of the season. A week ago Sunday night at the local arena, his son Tim, was in goal for the Jr C's, he had a penalty shot to stop, the score was 3-0, and he had the first shut-out of the season. Th e Y80'5s> Are Here!f TOM COWAN, President Squabble Develops at Rear of Port Perry's Net The game Sunday night between Port Perry MoJacks and Bowmanville Red Eagles was fairly calm up until the third period when Darrin Jobb of MoJacks tussled with Jerry Johnson behind the Port Perry net. Jerry managed to break loose from a headlock and flipped Jobb to the ice where the fists started flying. Jobb was helped to the bench with blood flowing down his face and Johnson went to the penalty box, carrying his sweater. Happily, no one was seriously injured, the linesmen halting the action quickly. On Sunday night at the Bowmanville ice palace, the Cowan Red Eagles played catch up hockey until near the end of the game when they squeezed by Port Perry Modacks 5-4. With five minutes to play, Karl Chambers came up with the tying goal, followed by a screened blueline drive by Mark Berney for the winner with three minutes showing on the dlock.
