The Fourth Annual Tracter Pull was a decided success. Even the very uncomfortably hot, humid day could not dampen the enthusiasm of the large crowd as tractons and trucks of all makes, sizes and colors made over 100 pulls on an excellent, hard track. The many montbs of planning of a very bard working Tracter' Pull Comfmittee of the Black- stock Agricultural Society resulted in an extremely efficiently run event witb ne delays and constant action. But, for many the highlight was te see the stock farm tractor of Jon Bonsma complete witb triples - making twelve wheels for a total weight of aimost 35,000 lb. practically fi the width of the track pulling the loaded sled with the added weight of a large bulldozer for a distance of 184 feet. The estimated value of this mammotb piece of farm machinery was over $100,000. Ray Suggitt is undergoing tests and treatment for his recurring severe headaches in Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto. By some method, he was able te attend the Tractor Pull. We ail surely hope that soon relief will be found for you Ray. A number of relatives and friends from here attended the wedding of Dierdre Fegan te Donald Trewin on Saturday in St. Philip of, the Apostle Church, Oshawa and the reception and dance at the Kedron Delîs Golf Club. Misses Cheryl Graham and Edie Aistein have returned home from visiting Cheryl's uncle Larry Hoskin at Lake Louise. They attended the Calgary Stampede, as well. Also.
