Enniskillen U.C.W. In honor of the Year of the Child, Enniskilien United Church Members hosted a Pot luck supper for the 4-H girls and leaders at their June mneeting. President Elia Bow- man welcomed everyone and reminisced a bit about the former Junior Institute and its activities. The special .ommittee of Joyce Virtue and Aima Rowan assisted by the north group served a deiicious meal in the Church basement where yellow rose floral arrangements decorated the tables and huge bouquets of seasonal flowers brightened the room. Following the meal, members were invited to view 4-H Manuals and the articles -made by the girls, also the dîfferent awards and certificates given to 4-H members as they complete uÛnits. .'Dianne Wollenberg conducted the Worship, using the June meeting theme Loyalty as her guide. Assisted by Doreen Lamb and using Scriptures 1 John 1: 5-10 and Matthew 5: 14-16 Dianne pointed out that without loyalty countries, families, friendships, organizations and Christianity would not exist. Using a poem from Helen Steiner Rice's collection calied "Ciimb Till Your Dream Comes True" and "The Seed", Dianne indicated that we should have faith that God will guide us to live for today and believe in tomorrow. The devotional was closed with prayer. The program was opened by Judy Virtue at the piano with her rendition of "You Light up My Life". Barbara Howe thanked the ladies on behaîf of the two clubs and the leaders and gave a brief background of the beginnings of 4-H clubs. She explained that each girl is given a silver teaspoon by the Ministry of Agriculture and Foods at the completion of each unit and how the girls earn different certificates and pins, as they advance in the projects. Commentators Cindy McGill and Beverley Stainton gave information about jeweilery based on the exhibit "IAil that glitters is not gold" for the senior club. Both groups gave interesting and informative entertainment. Joyce Virtue expressed appreciation to the clubs and leaders on behaîf of the U.C.W. Leaders were then presented with sterling silver Maple Leaf pins centered with the 4-H emblem. These were presented by Aima Rowan to Ulah Chambers and Kay Buttery as leaders of the Junior club and Shirley Pollard and Barb Howe of the Senior Club. President Ella coniducted a short business meeting and the evening closed with prayer. Mr. and Mrs. E.A. Werry, Mr. and Mrs. J.
