6 Trhe Canadian Statesman, Bowmanville, June 13, 1979 Section Two Graduatîes Sherry Locke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Locke, R.R. 2, Bowmnanville, graduated May 12, 1.979 from -Sir Sandford Fleming College Peter- borough, with a deree ini Law and Security Adminis- trationi. Sherry was the co- recipient of. the Phyllis Mac Nei Fraser sêholarship fund for being the maost outstanding graduate of her class. Sherry plans on continuing her educa- tion at University, majoring in criminology. Jane Louise Morris, daughter of Dorot hy Morris and the late Donald Morris graduated from the Businèss Secretarial course at Durham College in Oshawa. She is now spending a mobnth in New Zealand visiting friends made while she was a Rotary Exchange student in that country in 1976., Jane bas accepted a position with Ontario Hydro in Toronto beginning June 25. Bill Siater, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Siater, Orono, graduated from the Universi- ty of Guelph with a diploma in Agriculture on June 5,1979. Lynette Evelyn Tink graduated May 26, 1979, from the advanced Engineering Secretarial Course at Durham Colle ge. She had previously attended Courtice Secondary Sehool. She is the daughter of Walter and Marjorie Tink, I'r. 2, Bowmanville. Lyn is presently employed in the office at Pine- Ridge School, Bowmanville. Recomimend Repairs to Orono Depot The roof of the Orono Works Depot will undergo major repairs if council agrees to endorse a resolution passed by its public works conimittee Thursday. Acting on the recommendation of Director of Public Works Jack Dunham, the committee agreed to replace the roof at a cost of $3,080. J.L. McEwen Construction Limited of Bowvmanvillewill do the work. In a report to- the committee, Dunhamn said the roof is ini "a very por state of repair particularly o ver the oices and the lunchi room."
