United Church News On Sunday, Feb. 18, at the Newcastle United Churcb, about sixty-five Guides, Brownies, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts and their leaders attended the Service, this Baden Powell week. Newcastle District Guide News On Feb. 3, 1979 at Guide House, Oshawa, two Guide Teams from this district entered tbe St. John Ambu- lance First Aid Competition. These girls won the plaque for the highest number of points in tbe Junior Division and the Verna Conant Tropby for the highest percentage of points in the competition.
