The play, done in tbree acts, started on a high note with a fuil bouse. Laugbter was flot bard to corne by as Joe Pendiefon (George Feddema) the bandyman, acted bis flot altogetber sby but lovable part. Mary Ainslie (Net Fed- dema) the main cbaracter, played tbe gracious lady fbat became a tradition in the quaint New England Village, wbere she bas resided for years. She is talked about especiatly by the Village Gossip Sopbrony Trolter (Grace Van Dyk). Sophrony questioned wby sbe bad flot Ieft ber bouse for years except to walk among her favorite tavender ftowers, which grew in ber garden.* The rest of the characters -in tbis ptay expressed tbeir work and enjoyment through the warmth, tenderness, comedy and drama tbat was disptayed in tbeir performance. Members of the winning rink included Skip Roy, Vice Ted Rowden, Second Peter Fifzsimmons and Lead Neil Pembefton. Second place in the event went to a rink from Whitby skipped by Rick Hird.
