In her hands she held the pieces of paper. "Oh God", I cried to myseîf. It can't be that bad. 1 cried heavier -- in silence. MacINNIS Co-ordlnator Oshawa, Ontario 22 King St. W., 4th Floor, BANK $1.90 for a hot corned beef submarine san- dwich in hopes of devouring it like a pig with hands and had your vision of face-stuffing delight destroyed by the reality of a pile of mustard, meat, and bread spread out before you like a dry stew yo'u probably realize what a delicate art the un- wrapping of a sub really is. After months of diligent research your favourite writer (me) has discovered the secret in guarding your lunch against the perils of inept unwrapping. As usual, the stroke of genius did not resuit from the extensive research. The brilliant piece of common sense came like a boIt off of a wheel out of the clear blue sky. Why not sim- ply reverse the process by which the object was wrapped. Lift the sub up with one hand and unfold the plastic wrap beneath, pulling down and back. Now you have a long, round object that looks like it was placed on the paper and rolled neatly. And there is the catch. They didn't roll it when they wrapped it. You must hold the sandwich off the table and unwrap the plastic from beneath it. Then place the sub on the table and take the plastic wrap off. Before you will rest an un- believeably intact lun- ch. You now know how to unwrap a sub. Joy, hap- piness, and conteniment are now yours to enjoy aIl the days of your life. May the hair on your tocs grow ever longerý.
