Toros answered in the third when Peter Hughes ripped one in from just inside the Cobourg blue line. They played Markham in Markham against the Milionaires and althougb they outpiayed and outsbot tbemn they only managed a 1-1 tie. This was partly due to bot goaitending by Markham's Paul Laufert and the Toros' inability to raise the puck into the open top of the net wben the goalie was down. It was a mild gamo witb only 7 minor penalties callod, 4 to Markham and 3 to Bowmanviile. The only Toro! goal came off the stick of Timi Preston and Sbaughn Houston[ earned an assist. Tbis came in the second poriod. Markham's goal -was the first of the game and came at the 48 second mark of the first period. Notes: This was the best Toro team effort to date. And with a littie iuck as well as not facing hot goaltending this game may have resulted in the first win, the team deserved botter than just a tie.
