His mother, Mrs. Pat Hendry dropped by the Newcastle headquarters of the Ontario Provincial Police for a tour on May 14th during a Police Week Open House. ENNISKILLEN Excellent co-operation from the weatherman and super publicity in this popular week- ly left nothing to be desired for our very successful S.S. In his children's story he employ- ed a bit of magi, with handkerchiefs and rope. His sermon stressed unselfish- ness, he stated all evils are due to selfishness, with all wanting rights yet shirking responsibilities which goes back to events in the Garden of Eden. He emphasized four points: 1. Responsibilities of parents, and church leaders, 2. There really is Life Eternal, 3. God does answer prayer and is very much alive, 4. Our allegiance should not be for personal gain. By special request the choir repeated the anthem "High Upon the Mountain" which seemed to underline the speaker's ness- age. Our minister welcomed everyone, especially those for whom it was a homecoming and expressed appreciation to our guest speaker. Receiving the Offering were Allan Werry, Keith McGill, Kelly Simpson, and James Werry. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Wilson and family weré royal- ly entertained for the dinner hour at the home of a fellow farmer, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Sharp and family.
