The Annual Meeting for the' Division 16, (Bowmanville) of Durham Regional Police report four traffic accidents in town during the past, week totalling damage to the seven vehicles involved of some $2, 625. On Friday, Jan. 9, the first of two collisions that day occurred about 1:10 p.m. on Ontario Street in front of residence 112. A 1975 Plymouth owned by Iýeter Hoîkema of Middle Road and being driven at the time by Hennie Schaï of 77 Ontario Street, was travelling south. In doing so, it collided with a 1973 Chev Wagon, ,operated by Larry Trimble of 112 Ontario St., reported to, have been backing out of the driveway. The collision caused dam- age of $450 to the right rear of the vehicle driven by Schat while the Trimble, vehicle escaped with $75 damage. Investigation by Const. Mackey brought charges of failing to yield against Trimb le. At. 6:55 p.m. a two car collision at the intersection of King Street East and Liberty Street resulted in charges of an improper left turn in an intersection against an out of town party. Const. McFeeters investi- gated the mishan in which a 1971 Plymouth operated by Patrick Shalla of Barry's Bay, eastbound on King, made a left' turn across the path of a westbound 1969 Olds drîven by tainment. Rosemary Cascagnette,, 23, of Bond Street East, Oshawa, was proceeding west on King Street when an unknown 1975 Chev pulled across her path from Martin Road.
