Sunday was a beautiful day with a good attendance at church at Welcome. Rev. R. Bartlett's message to the children was illustrated by the story of George Washington Carver and his, wonderful work of service to his people - a life that was a fitting example of the love that Jesus lived. The choir's anthem was "Face to face with Christ my Saviour," Lana Beatty and Elaine Kellogg sang part of it as a clUet. Thfe sacrament af the Lord's'supper was observ- ed at this service with Rev. R. Bartlett assisted by elders Lloyd Kellogg, Russel Baker, TOM Wilson John Groene- veld,' Carroli' Nichols Mes- dames J. Connelly, Clarence Nîchols and K. Dnner. 1 Floral offering for the service was a basket of the last flowers of summer, dahlias and zinnias. With Wesleyville road signs on 401 and the yellow marking lines on the access road, work on it is about completed, although some work is'con- tinuing on the roadside., The mound at the site seems to loom larger and larger and the feeling of confinement is feit by those accustomed to see the wi de ex panse of lake. A Vlit was completed at Mrs.H Dark's on Wednesday and recent visitors with Mrs. Darke were Mr. and Mrs. Garland 'Brown of Illinois, U.S.A.
