The current exhibition at the Gallery, which is located in the Library in Bowmanville, is a series of reprints made fromi Duncan Donovan's original 5" x 7" and 8" x 10" glass plates. Newton discussed the work in general terms and demonstrated the technique involved in making gold-toned POP prints. The exhibition continues until Oct. 3. Gallery hours are: 12 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Closed Sunday. Submits Winning Slogan on 'Scfety' Judy Froats, a clerk at Ontario Hydro's Bowmanville Area office, submîtted the winning slogan for the month of August as part of a safety campaign for' emplovees of Hydro's Central Region. Her slogan was "Learn to Obey the Facts, so you won't Bee stung by careless Acts. " Monthly slogans focus on the bee which is the symbol for tiie'year-iong safety campaign. Miss Froats' pr-ize is dinner for two in a restaurant of her choice and theatre tickets.
