Mary B3rown's Win Twoa In Weekend EncountAo-e On Saturday, Jan. 4th, Mary Brown's Toros travelled to Cobourg and beat the home team by a score of 5-1. Bowmanville scored twice in the first period on goals by Chris Michelson and Bobby Canfield with Mike Bail and Ray Cummings getting one assist each. In the second period, each club scored once. Bowman- ville's third goal was scored by Ray Cummings from Scott Masters. In the final period Cobourg continued to attack but Toros broke everythîng up that the home team triecd to put together. The-Toros put the game out of reach when Scott Masters scored twice in the closing minutes of the game and left with a final score of 5-1. The next day, Mary Browns played Oshawa Red Wings and upset their club by a score of 4-1. Scott Masters scored twice for the Toros and Scott .Heard scored once as he took the puck from his own end through the entrie Red Wings team to put the light on. Chris Michelson also found the target for the Toros as he scored on a wrist shot whîle in full stride with assists going to Chuck Nash and Jay Sweet.
