Mother's Hold Grand Opening Remember the Jive and the 'Beach Boys A week ago Monday, Mother's Pizza Parlour and Spaghetti House held the grand opening of their new location on the corner of Ritson Road and King St. in Oshawa. Scores of people arrived to partake of free wine, delicious pizza, and submarine sandwiches. Posing beside a grand old pot belly stove in the lobby of the parlour is Bob Wingrave, operator of the two Oshawa parlours which are owned jointly by Mother's Pizza Parlour and Spaghetti House Ltd. and Wingrave Investments Incorporated. These were Masknonge fry about one inch long. The fry were disbursed throughout the marshes bordering Stony Lake. July 10th saw Conservation Officer, John MeCulloch stock approximately 5,500, five to, six inch Musky fingerlings in Pigeon, Buckhorn and Stur- geon Lakes. These Muskies are raised at Deer Lake Hatchery from spawn taken in Stony Lake. The provincial fish hatchery at Deer Lake is located approximately 15 miles north of Havelock, Ontario. The hatchery is open to public and could prove to be a very interesting family outing. Hunter Safety Training and Examination Centres How do I get a hunting licence? (An enquiry fre- quently heard at Lindsay District Office a month or so before the hunting season opens). Consider the following - it could save you time in acquirihg your hunter licence for the upcoming season this fall: 1. If you have never had an Ontario hunting licence and are 19 years of age or younger, you must take a unter safety training course given by a qualified instructor in your area. Having complet- ed the course, an applica- tion for an examination can be obtained by contacting the aforementioned ad- dress. 2. If you are 20 years of age or' over, you are only required to buy a Ministry examina- tion for a hunting licence. If you have lost your hunt- ing licence, a licence search form can be obtain- ed by writing the Ministry of Natural Resources in Lindsay.
