Mrs. Kading had battled an illness and died peacefully at the Headwaters Health Care Centre in Orangeville. Mrs. Kading was the Oakville Town Crier for 11 years and retired from her post in 2000. She went on to become the Town Crier for Orangeville. "After Betty retired as the Town Crier, she maintained her strong connection to Oakville. Ella, Montessori nine-year-old. "She was a great lady and we will miss her greatly," said Brian. A visitation was held at the Dods and McNair Funeral Home and Chapel in Orangeville on Wednesday, Oct. 22. Memorial donations to St. Mark's Anglican Church in Orangeville are appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Mrs. Kading in the Dods and McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area in Orangeville.
