In this role, the successful candidates will feed flyers into a minimum of two pockets on the automated inserting machine and count newspapers into specified amounts to be strapped, bundled, and stacked onto skids. Available shifts: Day Shift: Sunday, Monday Tuesday and Wednesday and possibility of working Thursday: 8:00am to 4:00pm: -up to 30 hours a week. Varies from week to week. Afternoon Shift: Sunday, Monday Tuesday and Wednesday and possibility of working Thursday: 4:00pm to 12:00am:-up to 30 hours a week. Varies from week to week. Night Shift: Sunday, Monday Tuesday and Wednesday and possibility of working Thursday: Monday to Friday: 12:00am to 8:00am: -up to 30 hours a week. Varies from week to week. Weekend Shift: Friday and Saturday 8:00am to 8:00pm: -up to 24 hours a week KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES · Insert flyers into the pocket of the flyer inserting machinery · Open bundles of raw flyers and prepare them for insertion · Identify and confirm the correct version of assigned flyers are being used · Identify and report any flyer feeding or mechanical issues to the Operator · When machinery has stopped, help sort the rejected flyers for reinsertion · Assist in the condensing of flyers for job change over · Assist in manual insertion or de-insertion of flyers as needed · Complete all duties in a safe manner and in accordance with our Health and Safety polices and the Occupation Health and Safety Guide.
