BRA Day to inform breast cancer survivors of reconstruction process Breast cancer survivors are invited to attend BRA Day on Tuesday, Oct. 21. The free event, hosted by the Mississauga Halton/Central West Regional Cancer Program, is meant to help women make educated and informed decisions about breast reconstruction as part of their healing process. It will include a `Show and Tell Lounge' where women will meet other women who have undergone breast reconstruction and see firsthand what the procedure can achieve, stated a press release. Breast and family physicians and plastic surgeons will also be available at the event to answer questions and provide information and options to women who may have never heard about or considered breast reconstruction before.
