Fall Registration Renowned Yamaha Music programs offered by KAOS Last September KAOS Music Lesson Studios began offering private music lessons in its new southeast Oakville location in the Maple Grove Village Mall (the Sobeys plaza). After a very successful first year they are pleased to announce that they will be offering the world famous Yamaha Music Education programs this September. The Yamaha Junior Music program is a highly specific music program designed specifically for children ages four and five. Classes are held weekly for 55 minutes and are taught in a group format with the child and one of their parents or a caregiver attending the class together. This highly energetic and fast paced keyboardbased program develops the child's musical sensitivity, their pitch by way of singing, musical timing, their understanding of note names, the musical staff and of course, their ability to play songs with both hands. This fun and highly effective program is led each week by a fully trained Yamaha instructor. All Yamaha certified instructors are required to pass a rigorous musicianship test prior to enrolling and completing the Yamaha Music Teacher Certification which ensures that the program is taught consistently and effectively. The Yamaha Junior Music Course is a two-year course with an option for a third year if students are keen to continue in the group format. Either way, the Junior Music Course gives a child the best possible start in their lifelong musical journey. Classes are scheduled to begin the first week of September.
