YERSH, Serena Lynn After a courageous battle on her 42nd birthday, Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Loving and cherished daughter of Walter and Irene. Serena will be lovingly remembered by her aunts, uncle, cousins, colleagues and many friends. Serena was a longtime dedicated teacher with the Halton District School Board, an avid tennis player, an adventurous traveller, an animal lover and had a keen appreciation of the arts. A Memorial Service will be held at the Glen Oaks Memorial Chapel and Reception Centre , 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, 905-257-8822, on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Online condolences may be made through www.glenoaks,ca. If desired, donations in Serena's memory may be made to your local Humane Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
