Police are investigating the discovery of a body in the area of the SmithTriller viaduct (Upper Middle Road and Neyagawa Boulevard) Friday afternoon. Police and the Oakville Fire Department were called to the area at around 1 p.m. after a woman's body was discovered in the ravine. The woman has been identi ed and police said foul play is not suspected. Upper Middle Road was closed several hours between Neyagawa Boulevard and Dorval Drive for the investigation. Shortly after 10 p.m. Friday, a 40-year-old man was struck by a GO train in Oakville and pronounced dead at the scene.
