Mike Mawdsley and Corbett also scored a pair, with Corbett adding two helpers for a four-point night. Patrick Miles had Oakville's other marker, and Rose stopped 40 of 52 shots. The Rock (1-3) will visit the 3-3 Six Nations Chiefs Saturday. Oakville will then host the 4-1 Brooklin Redmen Monday at TRAC, an 8 p.m. start. High-scoring brothers help Sr. B Titans earn road split Oakville brothers Sean and Brad Gillies combined for 19 points as the Oakville Titans split a pair of road games last weekend in Ontario Lacrosse Association senior B action. Each Gillies recorded a goal and three assists in the Titans' 11-7 win Friday over the Brooklin Merchants. Sean had four goals and two assists the following evening in a 15-12 loss to the Six Nations Rivermen, when Brad contributed two goals and three helpers. The Titans (4-5) sit fourth in the seven-team loop with seven games remaining on their regular-season slate. Gage Board and Allister Warren both had two goals and an assist in the victory over Brooklin, Oakville's first win away from home this season. Connor Latimer, Luke Laszkiewicz, Cody Simpson and Ken Coulson all recorded a goal and two assists, and A.J. Masson had Oakville's other goal. Craig Wende was the victorious netminder. Saturday in Six Nations, the Titans roared out to a 5-2 lead in the first period before the Rivermen rallied. Laszkiewicz had two goals and two assists, Jeff Sehl potted a pair and singles went to Kevin Harper and Coulson. Jay Preece took the loss in net. The Titans, who have already matched their win total from all of last season, will visit the St. Catharines Saints Friday and Owen Sound North Stars Sunday.
